Rukakaiku's booking and cancellation conditions

BOOKING CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions are binding once the booking has been made.

By paying the prepayment (20%) by the due date, the customer will confirm their reservation.

The final balance must be paid 4 weeks before the start of the accommodation. Last minute bookings (less than 4 weeks before the start of the stay) will be charged immediately.

The booker must be of legal age. Unaccompanied minors are required to provide a written commitment from a guardian.

The handover of the key is agreed 2-3 days before the start of the accommodation.

The holiday destination is available to the customer from the day of arrival at 4 PM to the day of departure at 12 PM, unless otherwise agreed with the owner.

The rent of the property includes free use of the holiday home, bed linen (mattresses, blankets, pillows), basic tableware, firewood, wireless internet (Rukajoiku 1 and 2, Rukakieku, Rukaleuku, Rukan Tuike) and use of the barbecue house (cottages on Saarua-ahontie and Vapatie). The customer brings their own linen, unless otherwise agreed. Final cleaning is included in the price, unless otherwise agreed.

The accommodation may not be used by more than the person agreed when booking the accommodation. Parties and other events where the number of people in the resort is temporarily exceeded must be agreed in advance with the guardian / owner.

Pets must be notified at the time of booking. If the pet is subject to significant additional cleaning due to hair, a charge of € 35 / hour will be charged according to the time spent cleaning.

Smoking is not allowed.

All remarks / deficiencies in the equipment and condition of the accommodation must be addressed immediately to the owner. Subsequent complaints will not be considered.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The reservation can be canceled free of charge before the due date.

If the customer cancels the reservation earlier than 28 days before the start of the rental, the prepayment will not be refunded. If the property is re-rented at the corresponding price, the prepayment will be refunded, less a cancellation fee of 50 €.

If canceled up to 28 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If the property is re-rented at a similar price, the accommodation rent will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of 80 €.

For possible exceptional situations and cases, we recommend travel insurance to our customers, which covers the costs of trip cancellation, eg. in case of illness.

RUKAKAIKU OY'S RIGHT TO CANCEL THE BOOKING

In the event of force majeure, Rukakaiku may cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer will receive a full refund of the rent paid.

If the advance or final invoice has not been paid by the due date, Rukakaiku has the right to cancel the reservation.
